Nicola Peltz Stokes Beckham Feud With Cryptic Father's Day Post

Nicola Peltz appeared to add her own commentary to the Beckham family's Father's Day drama with a mysterious Instagram post. The 31-year-old actress shared a quote on her Instagram story that read: 'I love this sentence: Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach.' The timing of the reflective message raised eyebrows, coming shortly after her husband Brooklyn Beckham was reportedly left 'fuming' by his parents' Father's Day tributes.

Father's Day Tensions

On Sunday, Sir David Beckham, 51, and Victoria Beckham, 52, posted heartfelt tributes on social media, including photos of their eldest son Brooklyn, 27, in which he was tagged. However, Brooklyn did not acknowledge the posts. According to a source quoted by The Sun, Brooklyn was angry about the public displays. 'He's asked them to leave him alone, and they just keep posting him. It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they'd leave it and leave him alone,' the source said. It is understood that Brooklyn has blocked his family on Instagram and has requested they only contact him through lawyers.

Nicola's Posts and Family Feud

After the cryptic quote, Nicola posted on her main grid to commemorate six years since her engagement to Brooklyn. She wrote: 'I feel like I've known you my whole life, you're my best friend and my forever love wrapped in one. I love you with my whole heart. You're the kindest man I've ever met, and I'm so happy I get to do life with you.' Brooklyn commented: 'You're my best friend forever and ever'. The couple have been at the center of the Beckham family feud since their wedding in 2022.

Brooklyn's Silence and Recent Advert

Since Brooklyn's bombshell statement in January confirming the rift and criticizing his parents, he has remained largely silent on the subject. However, last week he sparked controversy by starring in a DoorDash advert in which he made a clear nod to the feud, calling it a 'long story' as to why he wasn't at the FIFA World Cup in person – leaving his family 'heartbroken'. The amateur photographer and chef reportedly earned a significant sum for the gig. In response, his brother Cruz seemed to take a cheeky swipe by paying homage to their father's iconic '7' England shirt.

Distance and Estrangement

Brooklyn now lives in Los Angeles with Nicola, just a short distance from where David recently received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star. However, it transpired that Brooklyn went to New York while his family were in town for the ceremony. The estrangement continues as the family remains divided.
