A popular Melbourne sushi restaurant became the scene of a horrific violent attack on Thursday afternoon when a chef was brutally stabbed during busy lunch service.
The terrifying incident unfolded around 1:30pm at Sushi Sushi on Bourke Street in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, sending panicked customers fleeing for safety as the violence erupted.
Chaos During Lunch Service
Witnesses described scenes of chaos as the attack occurred in full view of diners. The 31-year-old chef suffered multiple stab wounds to his upper body during the altercation with another staff member.
