A 22-year-old man has died after falling from the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France.
Emergency services were called to the 8th arrondissement of Paris at around 3pm following reports that a man had fallen from the iconic monument on the Champs-Élysées.
The man reportedly plunged 50 metres from the monument, according to the Metro, to the horror of several onlookers.
Incident not linked to protests
The incident comes amid huge protests across France, but is said to not be connected to them.
