In a heartfelt statement, the Faversham Carnival Club expressed their profound sorrow, confirming the devastating news. "It is with deep regret and sadness that we have to let you know that our beautiful Miss Faversham 2022, Eleisha Skinner, died on January 8 following a tragic accident," the club announced. They paid tribute to her as a fantastic ambassador for the town and a "truly lovely girl" who will be deeply missed.

An Infectious Smile and Beautiful Soul

Friends and acquaintances have flooded social media with emotional tributes, painting a picture of a vibrant and loving young woman. Caroline Kyaba remembered Eleisha as "a beautiful soul with an infectious smile" who always spoke with immense love about her family. "I remember her proudly sharing photos of her brother's graduation from the army, and the hope and confidence she had in him," she wrote.

Another friend, Chanelle Lawrence, echoed the sentiment of a life cut tragically short. "It's always the best that get taken too soon. You were the heart of carnival, and I'm eternally grateful for the memories we made in the years we spent together," she posted online.

Family Launches Fundraiser for Air Ambulance
