Jacob Elordi, the actor known for his role as Nate Jacobs in the hit series Euphoria, has disclosed that a recent scene involving a coffin and a snake was filmed with a genuine reptile. In the seventh episode of the third season, which aired on Sunday, 24 May, Elordi's character is buried alive in a coffin alongside a snake. Contrary to the rattlesnake depicted in the show, Elordi clarified that a boa constrictor was used on set.
Behind the Scenes with the Snake
Elordi described the boa constrictor as 'super cute' and 'cuddly,' noting that the snake was quite sleepy during the filming process. He explained that he had to gently nudge the snake to encourage it to move for the shot. The actor's lighthearted comments reveal a contrast between the terrifying nature of the scene and the actual experience on set.
The revelation has sparked interest among fans, who were captivated by the intense moment in the episode. Elordi's willingness to work with a real animal added authenticity to the scene, even if the snake was far less dangerous than its on-screen counterpart.
