A 24-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged sexual assault at the Tiree Music Festival, police confirmed. The suspect has been released pending further enquiries, and festival organisers are supporting the investigation.

Ian Dommett, Yes Scotland’s marketing director until January 2014, claimed convicted fraudster Murrell controlled high-value donations intended for the pro-independence campaign. Dommett said he could not do anything during his time at the campaign “that wasn’t under Murrell’s control”.
Man arrested after armed cops swarm Livingston street
A 23-year-old man has been arrested after armed police swarmed Morrison Way in Livingston around 10.40pm on July 10 following a reported disturbance. The area was taped off, and emergency vehicles including fire crews and paramedics attended. No injuries were reported.

Ross McGill used the Encrochat handle 'Burritocastle' to exchange messages with drug-dealing pal John Barry McDuff, boasting they would soon have '100 flats'. Hundreds gather for Kayden Moy memorial
Hundreds of people gathered at Irvine Boating Pond, near the site where 16-year-old Kayden Moy was fatally stabbed on May 17 last year. The teenager had tried to act as a peacemaker during a confrontation. Green balloons were released in tribute. Kayden's father, Paul Moy, got a tattoo of his son's face ahead of the gathering.
