Separate Swindon Court Case Concludes
In an unrelated case from the same town, a Swindon man was sentenced for dangerous driving offences earlier this month. Nathan Wiltshire, aged 21, received a 36-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, at Swindon Magistrates' Court on December 22, 2025.
The court heard how on October 28, officers from the Armed Response Group and dog section attempted to stop a Mercedes in the Pinehurst area. The vehicle failed to stop, initiating a police pursuit.
PC Head, commenting on the case, stated: "Wiltshire's driving can only be described as dangerous." The Mercedes was driven at twice the speed limit, mounted a pavement near a pub—causing damage—and eventually lost control, colliding with a metal fence before being boxed in by officers.
In addition to the suspended sentence, Wiltshire was disqualified from driving for two years, ordered to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity, and must pay costs and a surcharge. He will be required to pass an extended driving test once his ban ends.
