Three men have been hospitalised with knife injuries following a violent altercation at Egham railway station in Surrey on Friday evening. British Transport Police (BTP) have described the incident as "an incredibly serious" event that required a multi-agency emergency response.

The fight erupted at approximately 9pm on Friday, prompting calls to police regarding multiple individuals with knife wounds. Upon arrival, BTP officers, alongside paramedics and Surrey Police, discovered a chaotic scene with several victims requiring urgent medical attention.

Two 20-year-old men suffered stab wounds, while a 22-year-old man sustained a slash injury to his face. An additional 18-year-old victim was assaulted during the brawl. Fortunately, none of the injuries are considered life-threatening or life-changing, according to official statements from the British Transport Police.

A man believed to be in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the violence and remains in police custody.
