The clip, circulating on social media, depicts the terrifying scene inside Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana. Music can be heard blaring as flames begin to lick across the ceiling, with concerned revellers visible nearby. Heavy Casualty Toll Confirmed
Swiss police have confirmed a heavy casualty toll from the blaze, which broke out at around 1:30am local time on Thursday, 1 January 2026. Authorities stated that "several tens of people" are presumed dead. In addition, approximately 100 people were injured, with most suffering serious wounds.
