Disturbing footage has surfaced showing slain gangster Marc Webley in what appear to be his final hours before being executed in a brazen daylight attack in North London.
The video, obtained exclusively by The Mirror, captures the 36-year-old criminal – known for his involvement in organized crime – casually chatting with associates just hours before his life was brutally cut short.
A Life of Crime Cut Short
Webley, who had survived multiple attempts on his life, was gunned down in what police describe as a "professional hit" near his home in Islington. Witnesses reported hearing up to eight gunshots during the attack which occurred in broad daylight.
The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation, with detectives working round the clock to identify the killers. "This was a targeted attack on someone known to police," a senior investigator told reporters.
Cycle of Violence
Webley's killing marks the latest episode in an ongoing gang war that has plagued parts of London. Criminology experts warn that such executions often lead to retaliatory violence, creating a deadly cycle.
"These killings aren't random," explained Dr. Sarah Wilkins, a gang violence researcher at University College London. "They're carefully planned acts of vengeance that demonstrate power and control within criminal networks."
Community Impact
Local residents expressed shock at the brazen nature of the killing. "To see this happen in our neighborhood in the middle of the day is terrifying," said one mother who asked not to be named. "What message does this send to our children?"
The Metropolitan Police have increased patrols in the area, while community leaders call for more resources to tackle gang violence at its roots.
