Urgent Search for Two Missing Women in Australia: Vijay and Trisha Graf
Police Urgently Search for Two Missing Women in Australia

Police in Australia have launched urgent public appeals for information regarding two women who have vanished in separate incidents, with authorities expressing serious concerns for their welfare.

Search for 27-Year-Old Vijay Intensifies

The desperate hunt continues for a young woman named Vijay, who was last seen almost a week ago. The 27-year-old was last spotted in Orange, in NSW's Central Tablelands, on Friday, December 29. Vijay is originally from the Orange area, but investigators believe she may have travelled to Adelaide in South Australia or to Queensland.

Police have released a detailed description in the hope the public can help. Vijay is of Indian appearance, with a slim build, and is approximately 165cm tall. She has a medium complexion, brown hair, and brown eyes.

"Concerns are held for Vijay's welfare," police stated, urging anyone who sees her or has information to act immediately. Authorities have been prompted to investigate a potential sighting after a local woman reported seeing someone resembling Vijay at a pub roughly 20 minutes from Adelaide's CBD.

Grave Fears for Trisha Graf from Andamooka

In a separate and deeply concerning case, South Australia Police are appealing for help to find 41-year-old Trisha Graf from the remote town of Andamooka, located about 600km north of Adelaide.

Trisha was last seen in the Roxby Downs area in the early hours of Tuesday, December 12. At the time, she was driving a white 2012 Ford Territory with the South Australian registration S254 BCX. Chillingly, CCTV images from the day she disappeared show her smiling with a friend.

Tragically, her vehicle was found abandoned and unable to be driven near Blue Dam, east of Andamooka, the following day. Despite an extensive search operation involving ground crews, aerial assets, and specialist dive teams, there has been no sign of her.

A police statement emphasised the severity of the situation: "Due to the length of time since Trisha was last seen, police hold grave concerns for her welfare."
