British father Neil Ginter, a Stagecoach bus driver from Plymouth, has gone missing while on holiday in Benidorm after meeting new acquaintances. His family has received no communication from him for more than 24 hours, sparking deep concern.
Family Reports Disappearance
Terri Purland, the mother of Neil's child, filed a missing person report on Wednesday, 1 July, according to NeedToKnow. Neil is described as bald with a distinctive tribal tattoo covering his right arm, tattooed text along his left forearm, and a stocky build. He has also been inactive on social media, heightening his family's anxiety.
Purland issued an urgent appeal: "Looking for my son's dad who is in Benidorm but no one has heard from him for over 24 hours. No posts on Facebook or even being active. He's met a few people while there. If anyone has seen or heard from him can you please get in contact."
Benidorm's Popularity and Recent Cases
Benidorm attracts approximately 900,000 British visitors annually. Neil's disappearance follows a similar case where another British national, Michael Hewitt, was found after a 10-day search. Hewitt, known as 'Little Mick', had lost his mobile phone while traveling to the USA for the World Cup and was last seen in Barcelona on 21 June. He was later found safe, unaware of the search for him.
Hewitt's brother Gary said: "Little Mick is safe and well in Barcelona, and was blissfully unaware that the world was searching for him."
Appeal for Information
Neil's family is now calling on expatriates, holidaymakers, and locals in Benidorm to come forward with any information about his whereabouts. The disappearance has left his loved ones in a state of deep concern, and they urge anyone with knowledge to contact authorities immediately.
