Russell Brand married Laura Gallacher in 2017 in a private ceremony attended by around 100 guests, with well-known faces from music, television and comedy among them.
The comedian, who was 42 at the time, exchanged vows with Laura at St Nicholas Church in Remenham, near Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
Several well-known faces from the worlds of music, television and comedy were among those celebrating with the couple. Some had been close friends of the pair for years, while others had worked alongside Russell during his rise to fame. These friendships were before any allegations against Brand were made.
Music and comedy stars in attendance
Former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher was among the biggest names at the wedding. He and Brand had been friends for almost 20 years, but Gallagher reportedly cut personal and professional ties with the comedian in April 2025.
Comedian David Baddiel was also on the guest list. He had been regarded as one of Brand's close friends and had spoken publicly about their friendship over the years.
Television and film guests
Jonathan Ross was also among the guests, arriving with his wife, screenwriter Jane Goldman. Brand first came to wider public attention after appearing on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross in May 2006. The pair later developed a friendship. However, they were both caught up in controversy over a prank phone call on BBC Radio 2 involving actor Andrew Sachs, which resulted in offensive messages being left on his voicemail.
Jane Goldman joined her husband Jonathan at the ceremony. The screenwriter is known for her work on films including Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class, as well as her collaborations with director Matthew Vaughn.
Hollywood star Jason Segel was another familiar face at the celebrations. The actor had worked with Brand on the 2008 romantic comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall, in which they starred alongside Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis.
Fearne Cotton was among the other entertainment figures who attended the wedding. The presenter had established herself as a familiar face on British television and radio, including through her work on BBC Radio 1.
Family and golfing guests
Laura's sister, television presenter Kirsty Gallacher, was there to celebrate her sibling's big day. Kirsty has built a career in sports broadcasting and television presenting, making her one of the most recognisable members of the Gallacher family.
Laura's father, Bernard Gallacher, also attended the ceremony. The former professional golfer is a well-known figure in the sport and previously captained the European Ryder Cup team.
Professional golfer Sam Torrance was another guest at the wedding. A familiar face in the Gallacher family's golfing circle, he joined the celebrations alongside Bernard and other members of the bride's family.
