Police have launched a major investigation after a man was shot dead in a car near London's Euston station last night, with the suspect fleeing the scene on a bicycle. Emergency services were called to reports of gunshots on Chalton Street in Camden, north-west London, at approximately 11pm on Saturday evening.
Details of the Fatal Shooting
The 26-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot multiple times while sitting in a white Nissan Juke. CCTV footage captured the incident, showing the suspect arriving and departing on a bike. Forensic officers have been pictured at the location, where a tent has been erected as part of the ongoing police investigation.

Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke, who is leading the investigation, stated: 'We are aware of the concern that this will cause for the local community, and want to reassure them that we are working hard to identify the attacker and bring them to justice.' She emphasized the importance of public cooperation, urging anyone with information to come forward.
The victim's next-of-kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. DCI Yorke added: 'Our thoughts are with the young man's family at this incredibly difficult time.'
