Man Charged with Murder of Mother-of-Two in Derry Home Attack
A 30-year-old man has been formally charged with the murder of Amy Doherty, a mother-of-two who tragically died in hospital after being discovered with severe injuries at her residence in Summer Meadow Mew, Londonderry. The incident occurred on Saturday, prompting an immediate and intensive police investigation.

In addition to the primary charge of murder, he has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, as well as possession of a Class A controlled drug.
