A terminally ill woman has been left devastated after a ruthless burglar not only ransacked her home but also viciously gouged out her prosthetic eye during the invasion.
The 68-year-old victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, was targeted in her own residence where the intruder subjected her to a terrifying ordeal. The assailant callously ripped out her glass eye before fleeing with stolen items, leaving the vulnerable woman in shock.
"I felt completely violated," the victim shared. "Losing my eye was both physically painful and emotionally crushing."
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect, described as a man in his 30s wearing dark clothing. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward, emphasising the particularly cruel nature of this crime against a seriously ill individual.
