Fears are mounting for a British father who has gone missing in Benidorm after meeting new people during his holiday. Neil Ginter, a Stagecoach bus driver from Plymouth, has not been heard from for more than 24 hours, leaving his family deeply distressed.
Disappearance and Family Appeal
Terri Purland, the mother of Neil's child, filed a missing person report on Wednesday, 1 July. She described Neil as bald, with a distinctive tribal tattoo covering his right arm and tattooed lettering along his left forearm, and of a stocky build. He has also gone silent on social media, heightening concerns.
Terri urgently appealed to expats, tourists, and locals for information. She said: "Looking for my son's dad who is in Benidorm but no one has heard from him for over 24 hours. No posts on Facebook or even being active. He's met a few people while there. If anyone has seen or heard from him can you please get in contact."
Popular Tourist Destination
Benidorm attracts approximately 900,000 British visitors each year, making it a hotspot for holidaymakers. Neil's disappearance follows a recent case where another British national, Michael Hewitt, was found after going missing in Spain. Hewitt, a football fan en route to the USA for the World Cup, vanished in Barcelona on 21 June but was found after a 10-day search, unaware his family was looking for him.
Authorities continue to search for Neil, and his family remains hopeful for his safe return.
