Katie Price's Husband Lee Andrews Arrested Again Weeks After Prison Release
Katie Price's Husband Lee Andrews Arrested Again

Lee Andrews, the husband of Katie Price, has reportedly been arrested again in Dubai, only weeks after being released from prison where he was held on suspicion of espionage. The 42-year-old businessman was taken to Lahbab police station on Friday 10 July and fined £120,000, according to reports.

Arrest Details and Fine

Mr Andrews, who is currently separated from Ms Price as she remains in the UK promoting her documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, allegedly told a friend: "They've arrested me. Katie might need to bail me out. We need to make a noise with a GoFundMe." The Sun reported that a source said Mr Andrews was "stressed" before the arrest, needing to raise money he believed he owed.

Background of Recent Incarceration

This arrest comes just weeks after his release from a Dubai prison following his disappearance in May 2026, which sparked weeks of speculation. Initially, Ms Price claimed he had been kidnapped, but later stated he was imprisoned on espionage suspicions. Others, however, suggested the detention was related to his alleged debts.

According to The Sun, Mr Andrews owed £54,000 to car rental company Rotanna Star and was required to repay it within 14 days. He also reportedly owed £15,000 to a UAE law firm. A travel restriction was imposed, preventing him from leaving Dubai without informing the Criminal Investigation Department, though he was not considered "actively wanted."

Debt and Legal Proceedings

Representatives for Mr Andrews had petitioned the judge to release him from prison so he could access his bank accounts to pay off the debts. In a statement, they said: "The judgment debtor appeared before the court and was questioned regarding the reason for failure to pay the debt. He stated his wife is currently outside the country and that he has been unable to access his bank account required to make payment. He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount."

It was claimed that while behind bars, Mr Andrews bragged that his wife would pay for his release, but Ms Price did not provide any funds. The Sun alleged that Ms Price helped him liaise with officials but insisted he could pay the debts himself. He was reportedly given two weeks to find £69,000 or face rearrest and imprisonment.

Public Statements and Reactions

Upon returning to social media after his previous release, Mr Andrews told followers that his arrest had nothing to do with fraud or criminal activity. The Mirror has contacted Mr Andrews, representatives for Ms Price, and Dubai Police for comment.
