Nationwide Rail Signalling Fault Causes UK Train Delays Until 3pm
UK Train Delays Due to Signalling Fault Until 3pm

A signalling problem affecting the rail network is causing widespread train delays across the UK this afternoon, with disruption expected to continue until at least 3pm, National Rail has confirmed.

Radio System Failure

Due to issues with communication systems in several areas, train services may be delayed. National Rail stated: "Various signalling centres are reporting issues with the radio system which enables drivers to connect with the signaller. Network Rail staff are investigating."

Trains can continue to operate but may have to run at reduced speeds, leading to extended journey times.
