This initiative follows Royal Mail's previous partnership announcement with Sainsbury's nine months earlier. The supermarket chain became the first retail partner to integrate Royal Mail's expanding network of parcel drop-off and collection points across its national locations.

Royal Mail originally launched its parcel locker network in December 2024 to address growing demand for convenient parcel services. This expansion particularly supports the increasing number of second-hand marketplace sellers and responds to the sustained growth in online shopping.
