The National Football League (NFL) has officially unveiled its full International Games schedule for the 2026 season, featuring a record-breaking nine games set to be played across four continents and seven countries.
Global Expansion
Eight different stadiums will host NFL action in Melbourne (Australia), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), London (UK), Paris (France), Madrid (Spain), Munich (Germany), and Mexico City (Mexico). This ambitious schedule underscores the league's commitment to expanding its global fanbase.
Opening Weekend Down Under
The International Series kicks off in Week 1 with the San Francisco 49ers facing the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia. This marks the first NFL game ever played in the country.
South American Debut
On September 27, the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys will clash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, introducing the league to South America for the first time.
London Triple-Header
The action then moves to London, England, for three consecutive weeks. On October 4, the Indianapolis Colts take on the Washington Commanders at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A week later, on October 11, the Philadelphia Eagles face the Jacksonville Jaguars at the same venue. The Jaguars return to London on October 18, this time against the Houston Texans at Wembley Stadium.
Paris and Madrid Host First Games
On October 25, the Pittsburgh Steelers meet the New Orleans Saints in Paris, France, marking the NFL's debut in the French capital. On November 8, Madrid, Spain, hosts its first NFL game as the Cincinnati Bengals battle the Atlanta Falcons.
Munich and Mexico City Finale
On November 15, the New England Patriots and Detroit Lions face off in Munich, Germany. The international slate concludes on November 22, when the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers compete in Mexico City, Mexico.
