Stacey Solomon has shared her latest garden upgrade, a set of solar-powered lanterns that she says 'feel like magic' after dusk. The TV presenter and mother of five purchased the lights from Amazon to illuminate the path through her bluebell bed, but the same product is available elsewhere for less.
The solar shepherd lanterns, which Stacey described as 'really reasonable' and 'not expensive', are sold by Amazon for £14.99 but have since sold out. However, retailer Glow.co.uk offers the identical 2PK Solar Shepherd Lanterns for £13.99, making them £1 cheaper than the Amazon price.
Stacey explained her inspiration: 'The bluebells are out and they just make me so happy. As the sun goes down I go for walks in the garden with the kids and I thought, wouldn't it be nice if I could light up this little path... so even when the sun's not out I could see them?' She later posted an update saying, 'OMG I love them so much feels like magic.'
The lanterns are solar-powered, requiring no batteries or mains connection. They feature curved shepherd crooks that push into the ground, allowing the lights to swing in the breeze and illuminate automatically at night. Stacey appears to have purchased two sets, placing four lanterns in her flower bed.
