Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has hinted he could leave the club in the future to play in Spain's La Liga, while the Gunners are reportedly eyeing Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi ahead of the January transfer window.
The 31-year-old Spain international, who is under contract until 2028, has been a key figure for Arsenal since joining on loan from Brentford in 2023. He has won three consecutive Premier League golden gloves and helped the Gunners clinch the title last season. Raya was also part of Spain's World Cup-winning squad this summer.
Raya on a potential move to Spain
When asked if he would like to play in Spain, Raya told Marca: "Yes, I would love to, I would love to try La Liga. For now, I'm very happy here, but I would like to try the Spanish league."
"I think it's a very competitive league. Maybe, in the future, I could play for a Spanish club. I'm Spanish and I would love to play there, that's for sure," he added.
Arsenal's transfer plans
Arsenal have made a strong start to the season and Mikel Arteta is aiming to retain the Premier League title and win the Champions League for the first time. The club added Ezri Konsa, Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis in the summer, but missed out on Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior and Atletico Madrid's Julian Alvarez.
Club Brugge striker Tresoldi has reportedly emerged as a target. The 22-year-old Germany U21 international has scored nine goals in 12 games for the Belgian side, including a Champions League hat-trick against Inter Milan. His value is claimed to have risen to around £42 million after Brugge rejected a £30m offer from Roma. However, Arsenal would face competition from AC Milan for the player, who is a boyhood fan of the Italian giants.
