A family, including two children, and an employee were left suspended 125 feet in the air for hours after a hydraulic malfunction at a sky dining restaurant in Kerala, India.
The incident occurred at the Sky Dining Hydraulic Lift in Idukki Pallivasal, where the platform became stuck due to a hydraulic error, according to local reports.
Emergency services from Kerala Fire and Rescue Services responded, with firefighters climbing the platform using safety harnesses and ropes to rescue those trapped.
Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, confirmed the rescue operation, stating that all individuals were safely brought down. Footage of the rescue was shared on Saturday, 29 November.
