The Guardian is inviting readers to share their favourite summer family day trips in the UK, with the best tip winning a £200 voucher towards a Coolstays break. The competition, which closes on Monday 6 July at 10am BST, aims to help families fill their summer diaries with fun activities.
What We're Looking For
Readers are encouraged to share experiences such as trips to outdoor sculpture parks, galleries, great picnic spots by rivers, small theme parks, or coastal hikes to quiet coves. Tips should be around 100 words, and relevant photos are welcome but not required.
Prize and Judging
The best tip of the week, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, will receive a £200 voucher for a stay at a Coolstays property, which offers over 3,000 worldwide. Winning tips will also appear in the Guardian Travel section and on the website.
Eligibility and Submission
