Billionaire's wife Susan Dell mocked online after White House appearance
Susan Dell mocked online after White House appearance

Susan Dell, the 62-year-old wife of billionaire Michael Dell, was brutally mocked online after appearing at the White House to support President Donald Trump's child investment scheme. A short clip of her speaking circulated widely on social media, drawing cruel jibes from online trolls.

White House appearance draws online ridicule

Susan Dell stood alongside her husband, Michael Dell, 61, CEO of Dell Technologies, during a high-profile Oval Office appearance on Wednesday (October 7) to promote expanded “Trump Accounts,” a stockmarket investment tool for kids. The programme, described as a $1,000 (£790) government “seed deposit” for children born between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2028, is now being automatically enrolled.

While the announcement was supposed to spotlight the Dells' pledge, it quickly veered into something less serious as online commentators mocked Susan's facial expressions and posture, with some even speculating about cosmetic procedures.

Trolls compare her to Annabelle doll

One Threads user wrote: “Listen it's 2026 and we don't comment on looks, but this is yet another time a demon in a skinsuit stood in one of Trump's talks.” Another posted: “This makes me sad... whoever did her face should have their medical license revoked.” Other comments were even more extreme, with one user writing: “Looks like an escapee from the Home Depot Halloween display.”

Another claimed: “I know a Skin Walker when I see one.” A further post read: “You know, I used to think that Lizard People were just a myth. Now? They are ABSOLUTELY real.” On Facebook, the jokes continued, with one person writing: “I know who she's gonna be for Halloween [Annabelle doll picture].

Cosmetic surgeon weighs in

Dr. Gerard Lambe, cosmetic surgeon and founder of the Reflect Clinic, analysed Susan's appearance and told the Irish Star: “Possible procedures observed include extensive facial fillers, particularly in the cheek and mid-face area, creating increased volume at $3,000-5,000 (£2,370–£3,950) per session with likely multiple sessions, possible fat transfer to face for volume restoration at $8,000-12,000 (£6,320–£9,480), likely upper and lower blepharoplasty at $8,000-12,000, potential facelift or mini-facelift procedure at $15,000-25,000 (£11,850–£19,750), regular Botox treatments at $800-1,200 (£630–£950) per session, and possible lip augmentation at $800-1,500 (£630–£1,185).”

Dells' backing of Trump Accounts criticised

Michael and Susan Dell have emerged as two of Trump's most high-profile billionaire backers despite a long-standing reputation as mega-philanthropists who usually operate at arm's length from day-to-day politics. The Dells' multi-billion-dollar backing of “Trump Accounts” has been criticised after rule changes allowed wealthy donors to put individual company shares into children's accounts instead of safer, diversified funds, AlphaSpace by Yahoo Finance reported.

Watchdogs say it could expose kids to volatile stocks and be abused for tax breaks or market manipulation.
