"Renewing a passport is normally straightforward when sufficient time is allocated," he states. "People frequently assume passport renewals can be resolved quickly at the last minute," he elaborates. "But when the departure date is already approaching, travellers may discover themselves compelled to use urgent services that cost substantially more than standard applications."
