Guest Reviews

Guests have praised the cottage for its seclusion and tranquility. A visitor in June said: "The property is in a very secluded area surrounded by tranquil countryside. It is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, it has a lovely enclosed garden and was just the perfect base for our holiday." Another guest in May echoed: "The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable, homely, quiet and very relaxing. The owner was very helpful and left bread, milk, eggs, butter, jam and treats for both humans and dog which is a lovely welcoming gift. We would most definitely return." A third guest who stayed in December remarked: "Wonderful peaceful setting perfect for an escape. The fire was a lovely addition and the rooms were cosy and comfortable. We visited in winter however we would definitely return in the warmer months to take advantage of the peaceful surroundings outside." However, one reviewer noted noise from neighboring teenagers playing football and dogs barking, while another mentioned a sticking bathroom door due to humidity. Despite these minor issues, a guest from November described it as "such a perfect, tranquil place in a beautiful setting" with great facilities and a warm, cozy atmosphere.
