American YouTube sensation MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has revealed plans to open his own multi-million dollar theme park this week, marking a significant expansion for the world's most subscribed content creator.
Beast Land: A New Kind of Theme Park Experience
The $85 million (£64.5m) Beast Land theme park is scheduled to open in Saudi Arabia on November 13, offering visitors a completely different experience from traditional amusement parks. With an incredible 450 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, Donaldson is leveraging his massive global popularity to create what he describes as custom games modelled directly after his viral videos.
The 27-year-old shared his excitement on social media platform X earlier this month, writing: 'Next week, Beast Land, our brand new theme park, opens! We built custom games modelled after our videos that don't exist ANYWHERE else and will have the world's largest prize wall.'
Unique Attractions and Game Mechanics
Rather than conventional rides, Beast Land focuses on interactive challenges that reflect MrBeast's signature style of high-stakes entertainment. In one attraction called 'Tower Siege', participants load balls into catapults and attempt to land them in giant 18-metre tubes to earn points.
Another featured game, 'Drop Zone', places six players on trap doors with a button that lights up in front of them. The person who presses the button last gets dropped, with the final remaining player earning the most points. The 'Airmail' attraction sends visitors on a zip line with weighted bags that they must drop onto targets below.
Donaldson explained his creative approach: 'I didn't want this to be like a typical theme park. Thought of things from first principles and created games I would love to play. Tons of original games created, plus, of course, we have rollercoasters and rides.'
Location Choice and Ticket Information
When questioned about his decision to locate the park in Saudi Arabia rather than his native United States, Donaldson pointed to his international audience demographics. 'It is because the majority of my audience is outside of America and that I have a big Middle Eastern fan base,' he stated, adding: 'Wanted to give them a chance to participate.'
Ticket prices range from $6.67 (£5.06) for basic admission to $66.40 (£50.41) for Beast Mode Plus, which includes unlimited access to all rides and attractions. The booking website shared by Donaldson also provides flight options to Riyadh for international visitors.
While the announcement generated excitement among fans, with one X user commenting 'That's crazy, you're just dropping theme parks seemingly out of nowhere. Beast Enterprises takes no days off,' Donaldson's ventures haven't been without controversy. The YouTube star has faced lawsuits from contestants on his Amazon game show alleging unsafe working conditions, and critics have questioned whether his charitable videos represent genuine philanthropy or self-promotion.
The opening of Beast Land represents another ambitious move for the content creator who has built an empire on attention-grabbing stunts and record-breaking giveaways.
