Disneyland Paris Launches World of Frozen This Month

Disneyland Paris is set to open the highly anticipated World of Frozen on March 29, 2026, marking a major expansion for the resort. This new land immerses visitors in the magical kingdom of Arendelle, complete with shops, restaurants, and interactive experiences.

Key Features of the Frozen Land

The centrepiece is the Frozen Ever After ride, a gentle boat journey that takes families through a snowy forest, the Valley of the Trolls, and Elsa’s Ice Palace, culminating in Arendelle Bay with snowflake fireworks. Character interactions are a highlight, with opportunities to meet Anna, Elsa, and Olaf through booked slots at Arendelle Castle or during shows in the bay.

Other characters like Kristoff, Oaken, and baby trolls will also be present, sharing stories about life in Arendelle. A standout feature is a first-of-its-kind Olaf animatronic, which waddles, talks, and interacts with the princesses, using advanced technology to delight guests.

Broader Park Rebrand and Additions

This launch is part of a larger rebranding of Walt Disney Studios Park to Disney Adventure World. New attractions include a swing-style carousel inspired by Up and a teacups-esque ride based on Tangled. A Lion King-themed land is planned, though its opening date remains unconfirmed.

Additionally, a new nighttime show over the Adventure World lake will feature drones, pyrotechnics, fountains, and effects referencing films like Moana, enhancing the park’s entertainment offerings.
