A British mother has died after falling from a balcony while on a family holiday in Turkey. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, with police now investigating the circumstances.
The woman, who has not been named, was from the New Barnsley and Upper Springfield area of West Belfast. She was on holiday with her partner and son at the time of the tragedy.
A neighbour described the community as "numb with shock," adding that the woman was "very popular" and part of a well-known local family. Tributes on social media remembered her as "the loveliest person with a heart of gold" and "a live wire with the biggest heart and personality."
The exact location in Turkey has not been disclosed. An investigation is ongoing.
