Scottish Man Missing in Thailand as Family Appeals for Help

A Scottish man has vanished while on holiday in Thailand, prompting a desperate search by his family. Kenny Robertson, 58, was last heard from on 5th January when he contacted relatives from Bangkok Airport. A brief email was sent to a friend three days later, but since then there has been no further communication.

Mr Robertson was travelling alone and had planned to explore Thailand for several weeks before volunteering at a dog sanctuary. However, the sanctuary has not heard from him, and his family say it is completely out of character for him to lose contact.

A missing person poster has been widely shared on social media, and his disappearance has been reported to Thai authorities. Friend Jordan McLeod posted an appeal on Facebook, stating: 'My friend has been reported missing after arriving in Thailand. He has made no further contact with friends or family which is very out of character for him. If you can do anything please share.'

Mr Robertson is described as 5ft 6in tall and wears glasses. Anyone with information is urged to contact the UK Foreign Office, UK police, or if in Thailand, the local police or the British Embassy in Bangkok.

This comes as another British traveller, 21-year-old Joshua from Grimsby, has also been reported missing in Thailand. He was last seen in Pattaya and is due to fly back to the UK on 19th January. His family have contacted border police and the British embassy.
