The value hotel chain has several venues across the city, many still with availability, with prices starting from under £150. The cheapest option for a one-night stay is the Cameron Toll shopping centre location, priced from about £142.99. It sits two miles outside Princes Street, but many buses run directly into the city centre.
For those who prefer to avoid extra travel, the most central Travelodge, on St. Mary's Street, costs around £250.99 per night. Despite the higher price, it eliminates the need for additional transport costs. Rooms feature a king-size bed, en-suite shower, four pillows, tea and coffee, Freeview TV, a desk, and free Wi-Fi.
Premier Inn and Point A options
Premier Inn also has several Edinburgh locations available during the Fringe, with prices varying by payment method. The company offers three pricing tiers: Flex (pay now or on arrival), standard (pay now, non-refundable), and non-flex (pay now, no changes). The Royal Mile Hotel, closest to the festival, ranges from about £332 to £349 for a standard room, which includes a three-foot bed, blackout curtains, powerful showers, and free Wi-Fi. Point A Hotel, with two boutiques in Edinburgh, is arguably the most affordable find.
