A 70-year-old woman has tragically died after being found unresponsive on a high-speed rollercoaster at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida.
Incident Details and Emergency Response
According to newly released official records, the incident took place on November 25, 2025. The unnamed rider was on the Revenge of the Mummy indoor rollercoaster when she became unresponsive after the ride came to a stop.
Park staff and emergency services rushed to the scene, and the woman was transported to a nearby hospital. Despite all efforts, she could not be saved. The official report has not disclosed her specific cause of death.
A History of Incidents on the Popular Ride
The Revenge of the Mummy attraction, which opened in 2004, is known for its intense experience. It propels riders at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour, features sudden stops, backward motion, and a drop of approximately 39 feet.
This latest fatality adds to a record of incidents linked to the coaster. Since its debut, 21 injuries have now been reported in connection with the ride. The state's report for the period from October to December 2025 also listed eight other medical episodes at the park, including complaints of chest pains, sickness, and back pain.
