SkyNook: New Plane Seat Design Makes Last Row Desirable
SkyNook: New Plane Seat Design Transforms Last Row

Collins Aerospace has unveiled a new aeroplane seat system called "SkyNook," designed to transform the experience of sitting in the last row of aircraft. The SkyNook features a privacy divider and an additional console, which can be utilised as a table, a bassinet for infants, or a carrier for pets.

Innovative Use of Space

This innovative design aims to make use of the typically underutilised space at the rear of twin-aisle planes, where the fuselage narrows, often resulting in fewer seats. The privacy divider provides a sense of seclusion and helps to dampen sounds from the galley and toilets, enhancing comfort for passengers.

Award-Winning Design

Collins Aerospace, which won a Crystal Cabin Award for the SkyNook, anticipates that the system will be installed by its first customer by the end of the year. This new design might make passengers reconsider booking the last row, offering a more private and versatile travel experience.
