Google has unveiled four models of its new Pixel 11 smartphone, and shoppers who pre-order early can get free gadgets worth hundreds of pounds. The Pixel 11 series includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, all powered by Google's Tensor G6 chip with the latest Gemini Nano model. They feature major camera updates, enhanced durability, and Gemini Intelligence features.

All four models launch on August 20, but pre-orders are available now from retailers like Mobiles.co.uk, where select deals include free earbuds and smartwatches. The standard Pixel 11 costs £27.99 per month and £29 upfront on iD Mobile's 100GB tariff, which includes free Pixel Buds 2 Pro worth £219 and a £50 phone case. This price applies to the 256GB model, available in Frost, Obsidian, Pistachio, and Hibiscus.
Shoppers opting for the Pixel 11 Pro receive a more valuable freebie: Google's new Pixel Watch5, worth £369, plus a £50 phone case. The Watch5, also launching on August 20, is said to deliver Google's 'most proactive help and health experience' ever. To get it free, order the Pixel 11 Pro for £27.99 per month plus £29 upfront on iD Mobile's 100GB tariff.
Additional offers and trade-in values
Mobiles.co.uk is offering up to £419 worth of freebies when pre-ordering any of the four Pixel 11 phones. The same watch giveaway is available with the Pro XL (£41.99 and £49 upfront) and Pro Fold (£44.99 and £229 upfront). Mobiles.co.uk also pays customers up to £645 when trading in an eligible working phone and includes a free trial of Google Premium services.
Sky Mobile is also taking pre-orders for Pixel 11, offering up to £937 in savings, including an enhanced £300 trade-in value. Sky's monthly prices for the Pixel 11 start at £25 with £12 upfront, but this includes only a 100MB data allowance. Heavier users can opt for the reduced 75GB plan at £14 per month (was £23). Alternatively, each Pixel 11 can be bought outright from sites like Amazon, with prices ranging from £879 for the base model to £1,799 for the Pro Fold.
Expert opinion on the Pixel 11 series
While the Pixel 11 has not yet been reviewed by the outlet, experts at Android Central have tried it out and said Google has 'raised the bar'. They noted: “After playing with the Pixel 11 series, I realised how Google has singlehandedly raised the bar for AI on your phone. Nearly everything about this year’s phones is perfect, except that nothing really has changed with the hardware.” They added: “So you may be thinking, are these phones even worth it? In my opinion, this year is the year Google really should be focusing on perfecting Gemini, and these phones are proof in the pudding. Google spent less time on hardware modifications and more time refining, tweaking, and perfecting Gemini.”
They also discussed the base model versus the Pro, saying: “Why I never care for the base model is because if I’m going to spend the money on a phone, I want it to have Pro features, and the base model rarely gets them. That said, like the Pro models, the base model is powered by the Tensor G6 with 12GB of RAM, so you’ll still get many of the same features, with some exceptions. That includes the new Gemini Intelligence, which lets the AI handle tasks for you or make suggestions based on your interactions in Messages, At a Glance, and other areas. However, you’re missing out on other features, like the 120x zoom and HiLight, to name a couple. So, if you're getting this phone for your kid and want them to have a good experience without spending too much or exposing them to too much AI, this is the phone they should be getting.”
