Huawei Band 11 Pro Drops to Under £50 in Early Amazon Prime Day Deal
Huawei Band 11 Pro Under £50 in Early Prime Day Deal

The Huawei Band 11 Pro has been reduced by almost 30% ahead of Amazon's latest Prime Day sale, now available for under £50.

Early Amazon Prime Day Deal

Amazon's major annual tech savings event is just around the corner. The retail giant's Prime Day sale will run from June 23-26, with reductions expected on countless leading tech and gadgets, but Amazon has already kicked off proceedings with some early Prime Day offers.

One that has particularly grabbed our attention is a fitness tracker that, on the face of it, appears to outdo Fitbit on value for money. The Huawei Band 11 Pro has been slashed by 29% to £49.99 (was £69.99) exclusively for Amazon Prime members.

This undercuts rival retailers like Huawei direct and Argos, which charge £59.99 and £69.99 respectively. For those not yet subscribed to Prime, Amazon provides new customers with a 30-day free trial, granting access to this and all Prime Day offers this month.

Features of the Huawei Band 11 Pro

The Huawei Band 11 Pro features a 1.62-inch AMOLED display along with 50 metres of water resistance, a heart rate monitor, a blood oxygen monitor and the ability to track more than 100 different types of workouts. However, the standout feature at this price point is built-in GPS, meaning the Band 11 Pro can map your running, walking and cycling routes.

Trackers such as the Fitbit Inspire 3 lack built-in GPS, meaning users must carry their phone during exercise to track themselves accurately. Considering this model currently sells for £76.15 (was £84.99) at Amazon, the Huawei Band 11 Pro represents exceptional value.

Battery Life and Health Monitoring

Those loyal to the Fitbit brand may want to consider the Fitbit Charge 6, which also features built-in GPS and is currently available for £92.75 (£109.69). The Fitbit boasts a solid 10-day maximum battery life, though Huawei claims to go one better, asserting that the Band 11 Pro can last up to 14 days.

Regular GPS users may find that figure drops slightly, but it remains an impressive feat. Even in standard use, it is rated for eight days, which is highly respectable for a rechargeable tracker.

Once strapped on, the device delivers round-the-clock heart rate monitoring. With 24/7 heart rate variability (HRV) tracking that can help flag when users need more rest or even warn if they may be coming down with something.

Design and Availability

One notable omission from the Huawei Band 11 Pro is a built-in microphone. A trade-off that comes with its mid-range positioning between budget and premium devices. As a result, incoming calls will only trigger a vibration alert rather than an audible notification. As with any fitness tracker, the Band 11 Pro is not a certified medical device, though its health stats are certainly worth keeping tabs on.

It also includes female health cycle tracking with period reminders for those who want it. Alongside smartphone-connected features such as a remote camera shutter, calendar sync, notifications, and even a calculator and compass. Available in black, green or blue, the Huawei Band 11 Pro is priced at £49.99 until June 26.
