Aldi Launches £15 Ultrasonic Cleaner Rival to B&Q's £84 Model
Aldi £15 Ultrasonic Cleaner Rivals B&Q £84 Model

Aldi has announced the launch of a new Ultrasonic Cleaner as part of its SpecialBuys lineup, arriving in stores on Sunday, July 19. Priced at £14.99, the gadget uses high-frequency ultrasonic waves to remove dirt, grime, and grease from items like jewellery, watches, glasses, and retainers.

How the Ultrasonic Cleaner Works

According to Aldi, the cleaner creates microscopic bubbles in water that gently dislodge dirt and residue from hard-to-reach areas. The supermarket states: "Bringing back that brand-new sparkle with zero harsh chemicals or effort." It claims the device delivers a professional-level clean without the need for elbow grease.

Comparison with B&Q Model

Aldi highlights that shoppers can save up to 82% compared to similar products. The £14.99 cleaner is comparable to B&Q's Nedis Digital Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner, priced at £83.99. The B&Q model offers 43kHz sonic vibration, an 1800ml tank capacity, three cleaning modes, and an LED display with a timer. Aldi's version provides a more affordable alternative, costing £69 less.

As with all SpecialBuys, Aldi warns: "Once they're gone, they're gone!" Customers are advised to act quickly to secure the deals.
