Walkers has unveiled its Christmas 2026 crisp lineup, bringing back three festive flavours, including one that has been absent from shelves for five years. The returning flavours are Pigs in Blankets, Roast Potatoes, and Sensations Honey Glazed Roast Ham.
The Pigs in Blankets and Roast Potatoes flavours arrive in 25g packs sold in bags of five, retailing at £2.30 each. The Sensations Honey Glazed Roast Ham, a Walkers spin-off, comes in a larger 150g bag priced at £2.50. All three are limited-edition releases, so availability is expected to be temporary.
Fan reactions to the returning flavours
Shoppers have already spotted the new varieties in stores, and many have expressed excitement about their return. The Pigs in Blankets flavour has not been seen since 2023, while Roast Potatoes last appeared on shelves for Christmas 2021.
The UK Newest Foods Facebook group has picked up on the news. In the comments, Simon Tilbury joked, “potato flavoured crisps? Whatever next?,” while Emma Smith described them as “Marmite flavours.” Sophie Hawkins said she was “so happy” they were back, noting Pigs in Blankets specifically were the “best,” and Mike Arnold likened the Roast Potatoes flavour to “potato on potato.”
PepsiCo’s wider Christmas snack portfolio
Walkers is owned by PepsiCo, which also produces Doritos. Doritos has introduced a Gingerbread flavour for Christmas 2026, a product that went viral on TikTok in 2025, amassing 1 million views.
Rob Pothier, marketing director at PepsiCo, noted that 84% of shoppers stock up on Christmas snacks before the festivities begin. He said: “Christmas is a huge opportunity for savoury snacking, with shoppers stocking up for every occasion, from family get-togethers and parties to nights in and the days between Christmas and New Year.”
He added: “Our Christmas portfolio is designed to stand out in store and make it easy for shoppers to find what they need, whether that’s a familiar favourite or a seasonal flavour.”
Other festive food launches
Other seasonal offerings have already started appearing. Greggs has brought back its Pigs in Blankets snack pots for the first time since they were discontinued four years ago, alongside the returning Christmas Cake Slice and a new Sweet Mince Pie Roll. Coca-Cola has announced a limited edition Holiday Creamy Vanilla flavour for the UK, and M&S has introduced a pre-mixed decaf espresso martini. Sainsbury’s is offering a mince pie advent calendar.
