A new vintage children's clothing store, Inky & Co, has opened in Framwellgate Moor, Durham, offering pre-loved garments from designer labels such as Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's and Barbour. The shop, which also sells toys and gifts, opened its doors towards the end of last month.
What the store offers
Inky & Co stocks a wide range of pre-loved branded and vintage children's clothing, along with toys and gifts. In addition to the American brands Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Levi's, and the North East's own Barbour, the store also sells clothes by Carhartt, The North Face and Dr Martens.
Toys and gifts available come from UK suppliers including Orange Tree Toys, Rex London, Rachel Ellen and House of Marbles. The shop also features a snug area where children can sit and read a book or play with Duplo.
Opening hours and response
Inky & Co's opening hours are currently Wednesday and Thursday 10am-5pm, Friday 10am-5.30pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm. After teasers for its launch sparked curiosity and excitement, the shop has been attracting attention on social media, thanks to its eye-catching shop front.
