Tess Daly, 57, was seen still wearing her wedding ring to Vernon Kay as she launched her new swimwear range in Notting Hill on Friday evening, July 3. The former Strictly host looked radiant in a white cut-out dress with a long flowy maxi skirt, featuring small lacy details that showed off her obliques as she relaxed on a bench.
Daly called time on her marriage to Vernon Kay last month, shocking fans and friends. Since then, she has focused on her swimwear brand Naia Beach, which launched in March 2021 and has grown from strength to strength. At the event, she was joined by model Louise Redknapp and Naia Beach co-founder Gayle Lawton, chatting as they enjoyed the London summer sun.
Wedding Ring Still on Display
Despite the split, Daly's hands were packed with jewellery, including her wedding ring. The couple announced their separation after 23 years together in a joint statement on Instagram, saying they had mutually agreed to part ways amicably. Friends have said they continue to live together in their Beaconsfield home.
The full statement read: "After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably. This has not been an easy choice, but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire of what is best for both of us... We remain great friends and, most importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority. There are no other parties involved in this decision. We kindly ask for privacy during this time."
Family and Recent Public Appearance
Vernon and Tess share two daughters: Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 16. The couple were last seen in public together in February, co-hosting an episode of The One Show. Daly's appearance at the swimwear launch marks her first public event since the separation announcement.
