Superdrug is selling a body spray that fans claim smells almost identical to Lush's popular Sticky Dates fragrance, but at a fraction of the price. Instagram user @vickaboox shared her discovery in a video, showing how she found the 'Sticky Toffee' scent for just £1.75, compared to Lush's £28 price tag.
The savvy shopper visited her local Superdrug, the exclusive retailer for the bargain dupe, and declared the Sticky Toffee spray 'smells exactly like Sticky Dates'. She also highlighted a Pear Crumble fragrance available at the same price. For Superdrug Members, the spray is currently half price, making it even cheaper.
In addition to the body spray, Superdrug offers a Sticky Toffee shower gel for 95p for members or £1.90 for non-members. Vickaboox managed to find the last one in her local store and described the scent as 'really smells like syrup', matching the Lush version. Lush's Sticky Dates shower gel costs between £6.50 and £27 depending on size.
While the fragrances may be comparable, shoppers are advised to test the products themselves, as formulations may differ. The dupe has caused a stir among budget-conscious beauty fans, with many eager to snap up the affordable alternative.
