Queen Camilla's £14 Amazon Handheld Fan Spotted at Wimbledon
Queen Camilla's £14 Amazon Fan at Wimbledon

Queen Camilla was spotted using a £14 handheld fan from Amazon to keep cool during the Wimbledon tennis championships in London, where temperatures reached 32°C. The fan, made by Tecknet, was seen in her hand with the sticker still attached, revealing the bargain price of £14.24 in white. It is also available in khaki and pink.

Features of the Tecknet Fan

The portable fan is small enough to fit in a handbag and can be used handheld or placed on its base as a desktop fan. It offers five speed settings, from a gentle breeze to a stronger blast, and weighs little, making it easy to carry. The rechargeable battery provides between six and 16 hours of use, depending on the speed, with four LED indicators showing battery level.

Royal Protocol and Brand Endorsements

Royals are not allowed to personally endorse brands, except through Royal Warrants. However, this is not the first time a royal has accidentally promoted a product at Wimbledon. In 2019, Princess Kate used a Clarins lip gloss mid-match, causing it to sell out repeatedly. The Clarins Lip Perfector, infused with mango and shea butters, rice bran oil, peptides, and a lip highlighter complex, comes in 18 shades, with Rose Shimmer being Kate's likely choice.
