Pets at Home has unveiled a Halloween range for pets, featuring costumes, bedding, toys and treats with a ghoulish twist. The collection includes dozens of new additions for dog and cat owners, with prices starting from £2.
Spooky standout pieces
Among the new items is the £18 Coffin Pet Bed, shaped like a tiny coffin and complete with a 'Do Not Disturb' sign, suitable for cats and small dogs. Another highlight is the Little Pumpkin Dog Sweater, a cream knitted jumper with 'Little Pumpkin' embroidered in orange across the back, priced at £10 and available in sizes from extra small to large.
The jumper has proved popular on Pets at Home's social media channels, with one pet owner commenting: "The little pumpkin jumper has my heart," while another added: "We are obsessed." However, one person appeared disappointed by the lack of options for smaller animals, writing: "Nothing for small animals?"
Costumes and accessories for dogs
For dogs ready to embrace Halloween fully, the Pumpkin Dog Costume, priced at £8, transforms pets into a miniature pumpkin with a matching hat, available in small, medium and large sizes. A more understated option is the £2 Pumpkin Dog Bowtie. Other costumes include the £8 Vampire Dog Cape, the £10 Glow in the Dark Skeleton Dog Onesie, the Lil' Devil Dog Hoodie for £10, and the Bat Dog Costume with wings and fangs for £8.
Further pet costume options are available at selected supermarkets, with Sainsbury's offering a Halloween Rollneck Jumper for £6 as part of its Rosewood Spirit and Spook collection, and Tesco offering a Halloween Pumpkin Dog Jumper for £9.99. On the high street, B&M has also unveiled a Halloween range for pets, with items from rope toys inspired by pumpkins, zombies and vampires to striped pumpkin jumpers and spider costumes, with prices starting at £1.
Cats and Gremlins fans catered for
Cats can curl up in the Pumpkin Pet Bed or the Monster Brew Cauldron Pet Bed, priced at £16 and £20 respectively. Feline companions can also enjoy a set of six Disney Villains Maleficent Cat Toys for £9, packed with catnip, crinkles, bells, ribbons and feathers. For fans of the 80s franchise Gremlins, a pair of Warner Bros Gremlins Squeaky Dog Toys is available for £12, featuring Gizmo and a companion fed after midnight. Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees plush dog toys are also available at £6 apiece.
The full Halloween range is now available to browse and buy on the Pets at Home website.
