A new Cadbury Dairy Milk bar has been spotted in B&M stores, featuring a tropical pineapple-flavoured centre. The Tropical Pineapple Dairy Milk Bar, already sold in Australia, has arrived in the UK, but shoppers are divided on the unusual combination.
On the Newfoodsuk Facebook page, reactions ranged from curiosity to outright rejection. One person commented: 'It should be in white chocolate, not milk,' while another added: 'Pineapple chocolate? No thanks.' Some joked they would 'chuck it straight in the bin' without tasting it.
However, not all feedback was negative. Some shoppers expressed interest, saying they 'need to try' the new variety. Others reminisced about discontinued favourites, with one user writing: 'Bring back the old banana and fudge ones.'
The bar is described as 'Dairy Milk milk chocolate with a flowing tropical pineapple flavoured centre,' evoking 'the classic taste of summer.' Despite the appealing description, the presentation has left some unimpressed.
In addition to the pineapple bar, B&M is stocking other new Cadbury products, including Turkish Delight eggs, Dairy Milk Top Deck, and Cadbury Dream, which customers have long requested. The Turkish Delight eggs feature a 'flowing Turkish Delight centre' and are marketed as a special Easter treat.
