Two M&S shoppers have shared their experience of buying a Too Good To Go bag for just £4, describing the contents in four words. Laura Khoshaba, a singer with over 50,000 Instagram followers, unboxed the surprise bag alongside her mother Ann, who remains off-camera. The pair regularly review food from various supermarkets and high-end stores.
In a video filmed from their car, Laura revealed the items: pilau rice, flame-grilled chicken fillets, a chicken and bacon pasta bake, green olives, and a Greek-style strawberry yoghurt. Ann calculated that the products would typically cost around £17, making the bag a significant saving. 'So, if you were to buy all these items, they're around £17 so for £4, that's fantastic,' she said.
The Too Good To Go app allows users to purchase surplus food from local stores, cafes, and restaurants at 50-75% off the original value. The company describes itself as 'a social impact company on a mission to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.'
Reactions to the haul were mixed. One commenter shared their own positive experience, saying they had received nearly £50 worth of food from an M&S garage location.
