Morrisons has confirmed a major expansion of its quick grocery delivery service, bringing the Snappy Shopper platform to 300 Morrisons Daily stores across England and Wales.
The move will allow more shoppers to order groceries and household essentials from their local convenience store via the rapid-delivery app. The full Morrisons Daily range will be available, including everyday staples, fresh produce, Morrisons Savers items, own-brand products and multibuy deals.
Free delivery and growing basket sizes
Shoppers who spend more than £35 will receive free delivery. The expansion follows increasing take-up of the service across the Morrisons Daily network, where average basket sizes have reached £31.
The next phase of the rollout is expected to be completed by August.

Charlotte Exell, group online director at Morrisons, said: "We're pleased to expand our Snappy Shopper partnership across our Morrisons Daily stores, making it even easier for customers to shop with us." She added that the initiative would give more households in England and Wales access to home delivery of Morrisons' fresh food and grocery selection.
Stores using Snappy Shopper's technology will also be able to process orders from the Foodhub platform, offering another ordering option for local shoppers. Nash will continue to handle deliveries, with JetGo remaining the preferred last-mile delivery partner.
Mike Callachan, chief executive of Snappy Shopper, said the expansion demonstrated the partnership's success to date and its ambition to bring rapid grocery delivery to more communities. He added that pairing Morrisons Daily's convenience range with Snappy Shopper's platform would help participating retailers reach a wider customer base and boost their online sales.
