Meghan Markle Hits Back With Telling 9-Word Message Amid Prince Harry Drama
Meghan Markle's 9-Word Message Amid Harry Drama

Meghan Markle has sent a pointed message to critics of her lifestyle brand As Ever, declaring in a newsletter that “some things never stay on the shelf for long.” The nine-word remark came on Tuesday night, just as her husband Prince Harry completed his first official day back in the UK.

Newsletter Promotes Raspberry Spread

The Duchess of Sussex’s newsletter promoted her raspberry spread and encouraged customers to enjoy it in everyday moments that “deserve something a little extra.” The message read: “Some things never stay on the shelf for long. Our Raspberry Spread has become one of those favourites: reached for at breakfast, tucked into desserts, spooned onto cheese boards, and occasionally enjoyed straight from the jar.”

She added: “Keep a jar nearby for slow mornings, impromptu gatherings, and the everyday moments that deserve something a little extra.”

Brand Under Scrutiny

The newsletter arrives amid scrutiny over As Ever’s stock levels. In January, a glitch on the website revealed inventory exceeding 650,000 units. Data from digital intelligence platform Similarweb, cited by Newsweek, showed that As Ever had 392,114 US visitors from January to May, significantly lower than the inventory count, raising questions about supply and demand.

Traffic from the US, As Ever’s only marketplace, dipped in the first three months of 2025, according to reports in June. However, earlier in January, the website saw 36% growth since October 2024.

Prince Harry’s UK Visit

Prince Harry is on a five-day visit to the UK, but Meghan did not accompany him, citing security fears. It remains unclear if she will join him later in the week in other parts of the country. The Duchess launched As Ever in April 2025 and has since released several collections including flower sprinkles, jams, wine, biscuit mixes, candles, and teas.
