Manchester Airport has introduced a twilight bag drop service for passengers flying with several major airlines. The service allows travellers to drop their hold luggage the evening before their flight, reducing stress on the day of travel.
Which Airlines Offer Twilight Bag Drop?
The service is available for Virgin, TUI, Jet2, easyJet, and Ryanair flights from Manchester Airport. Passengers using the twilight bag drop can also receive free parking at designated car parks.
In a post on X, Manchester Airport confirmed: "Travelling with Virgin, TUI, Jet2, easyJet, or Ryanair? Why not take advantage of their twilight bag drop service. Passengers using the twilight bag drop service can get free parking at one of our car parks to do so."
How to Use the Service
For Terminal 2, passengers should follow signs for the T2 West Multi Storey (P3) car park. They must not use the drop-off zone. After parking, proceed to check-in to drop off bags. At the ticket desk, provide vehicle registration to validate free parking.
For Terminal 3, take a token at the entry barrier in T3 Mid Stay (P15) car park, check in, and drop off bags. Present boarding pass and car park token at the ticket desk for validation. Insert the token at the exit barrier to exit.
Terminal 2 Twilight Bag Drop Times
Virgin: Open 4pm – 8pm, for all flights the following day.
TUI: Open 2pm – 9pm, for flights before midday the next day.
Jet2.com: Open 4.30pm – 9pm, for flights before midday the next day.
easyJet: Open 6pm – 9pm, for flights before 08.30am the next day.
Terminal 3 Twilight Bag Drop Times
Ryanair: Open 7pm – 10pm, for flights before 8am the next day.
Also Available at Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Twilight bag drop is also offered at Liverpool John Lennon Airport for passengers flying with Jet2.com, Jet2holidays, Ryanair and easyJet. The airport stated: "Don't worry about check-in the day of your flight, head straight to security and enjoy your time in the departure lounge before take-off."
