Manchester United are targeting midfield reinforcements this summer, with reports linking the club to Manu Kone, Aurelien Tchouameni and Carlos Baleba.
Manu Kone Bid Reports
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport claims that Manchester United have agreed personal terms with AS Roma midfielder Manu Kone. The same report states that a fee is yet to be finalised but that an offer in the region of £42.7 million (€50m) is expected to be submitted by United. Arsenal, Chelsea and Al-Ahli have also been linked with the Frenchman.
Tchouameni Boost
Real Madrid's agreement to sign Yan Diomande could boost United's hopes of landing Aurelien Tchouameni. The latter has been of interest to United for months, and Real may need to sell after reaching a triple-figure deal for Diomande. Additionally, Real's continued interest in Rodri makes a midfield exit more likely, with Eduardo Camavinga another potential departure.
Carlos Baleba Update
Brighton's Carlos Baleba is again being considered by United. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 22-year-old's camp has contacted United to explore a transfer. Last summer, Brighton demanded a high fee that cooled United's interest. Baleba's asking price is now reportedly £70 million, though other midfield dealings could see Brighton demand more.
